THE EDITOR: It is time for this backward banana republic called TT to rid its Constitution of the obscene and ridiculous obscene language law. To me this moronic “offence” is in fact what is obscene.

Over 400 years have passed – and not even our slave masters were offended by this. Why we continue to enslave ourselves in this black and brown society is beyond logic.

We have so much archaic and brutal laws, yet we are one of the most lawless countries on the planet. I rest my case.
