More Covax vaccines arriving in Caricom countries

THE latest Caricom countries to receive covid19 vaccines through Covax are Barbados and Dominica. Both received supplies of the AstraZeneca vaccine on Tuesday.

Barbados got 33,600 doses and Dominica got 28,800.

Supplies are also in transit to Antigua and Barbuda (24,000), Grenada (24,000), St Kitts and Nevis (21,600), St Lucia (24,000), and St Vincent and the Grenadines (24,000).

The only Caricom countries yet to receive Covax supplies are now Haiti and Montserrat.

This country received 33,600 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine last week.
