22 new covid19 patients, 12 recover

THERE are now 392 active covid19 cases in Trinidad and Tobago, as 22 more people tested positive overnight and 12 patients recovered.

In its 4 pm update on Tuesday, the Health Ministry said the total number of confirmed cases to date now stands at 8,214.

Of those patients, 7,677 have recovered and 145 have died.

There are 145 patients at step-down facilities, 285 in state quarantine and 325 in self-isolation.

Tests done at public and private facilities for the virus now total 11,420.
