TT records 112 covid19 cases in 3 days

TT recorded 112 covid19 cases in three days, with the latest tally of 44 as of Friday, the Ministry of Health reported.

High numbers have been the trend over the past few days as on Thursday, TT recorded 46 cases and three deaths, and 22 cases on Wednesday.

The additional 44 cases, from samples taken during March 30 to April 1, brought TT’s total to 8,116 and active cases to 347. There were no deaths which remains at 145.

Recovered cases increased to 7,624 from 7,618 the previous day. The number of people in hospital was 27, in step down facilities it was six, with 270 in home isolation and 389 in quarantine facilities.
