AN employee of TruValu supermarket’s Trincity outlet has tested positive for covid19.

A statement by TruValu on Wednesday said the staff member is quarantined at home. It said the store was immediately deep-sanitised and management has been in constant contact with the Ministry of Health to ensure all protocols are being observed.

“We have completed contact tracing and have identified all of the people who were in contact with the employee,” said the statement. “They have been contacted and asked to self-quarantine at home.”

It said the outlet has not changed its opening hours and continues to operate as usual. “Cover for the employees who will be in self-isolation will be from out other stores.”
