Port of Spain cops break up Sea Lots party

Officers of the Port of Spain Task Force dispersed a crowd of people attending a party early on Tuesday morning.

Police said they were notified of a party at the Sea Lots Community Centre at around 5.20 am and went to the area where they saw a large crowd.

The officers advised the patrons of the public health measures and warned them before dispersing the crowd.

On Monday afternoon Port of Spain police issued 17 tickets to people for not wearing their masks.

The exercises were led by ACP Gaffar, Snr Supt Nobbee, Supt Ramnarine, ASP Cumberbatch, with field operations by  Insp Knott, Sgt Alexander, and Cpls Sookhoo, Thomas, Duncan and Fernando.
