The National Carnival Committee (NCC) continued its rollout of the TT Carnival World digital cultural platform in Tobago on Friday.

In a release on Monday, the NCC said it showcased the digital platform at a sponsor’s forum at the Shaw Park Complex, Lower Scarborough, Tobago.

“Before an audience comprising several influential stakeholders, including the Chief Secretary and Secretary of Tourism, Culture and Transportation, Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Ancil Dennis, the NCC showcased its…online platform designed to market TT’s cultural and tourism assets to the region and the world.

NCC chairman Winston “Gypsy” Peters said the platform is quickly evolving into its own as a digital cultural landscape.

Guests were treated to a video presentation that showcased the platform’s capabilities.

Since the platform launched in February, the site has amassed more than 10,000 visitors and 2,000 subscribers from the US, the UK, Canada, China, Switzerland, and Germany.
