Six new covid19 cases

Active cases of covid19 have dropped slightly, to 150, even though there are six new cases, the Ministry of Health's daily update reported on Monday.

Four people were discharged.

Eleven patients are hospitalised and 133 in home isolation. There are 292 people in state quarantine in Trinidad and Tobago and zero patients in step-down facilities.

The last death was recorded on March 7, so the total remains at 140.

The country's total number of cases since last year is 7,861. Of these, 7,571 patients have been discharged.

In all 106,667 samples have been sent to testing sites.
