Body of drowned 14-year-old boy found

The body of 14-year-old Matthew Sookoo, the Cedros student who fell overboard at sea in a boat accident, has been found.

His father, Marlon Sookoo, confirmed this to Newsday a short while ago.

The younger Sookoo disappeared around 3.45 pm on Saturday. A form three student of Cedros Secondary School, he would have turned 15 in July.

His father told Newsday the family is now liaising with the Coast Guard.
