Grande man killed over land dispute

POLICE are searching for a 24-year-old man who they suspect shot and killed another man over a land dispute, early Sunday morning.

Investigators said Kendell Williams, 26, was in the yard of his home in El Carmen Street, Sangre Grande, at around 5 am, when he was confronted by a man who shot him before running away.

Relatives heard the gunshot and took Williams to the Sangre Grande Hospital, where he was declared dead.

Investigators said Williams was shot in the right upper thigh, which severed an artery.

Police said the shooting stemmed from an ongoing land dispute between Williams and another man.
