Fourteen new covid19 cases, no new deaths

As of Sunday afternoon there were 14 new covid19 cases in TT, the highest number of cases recorded in the past week.

These cases brought the total number of covid cases to 7,783.

Over the last week the highest number of covid19 cases recorded was ten and the lowest was four.

The Ministry of Health's covid19 update on Sunday also reported that there were no new deaths as the total number of covid19 related deaths remained at 140.

The last death was recorded on Monday.

The update also reported that four more patients recovered from the virus bringing the total number of recovered cases to 7,531.

The Ministry of Health is advising the public to wear masks, practice regular hand hygiene and observe physical distancing when in public to avoid the spread of the virus.
