100 active covid19 cases, two new

There are now 100 active cases, and two new cases of covid19 recorded by the Ministry of Health.

The new cases reflect samples taken between March 2 and 4. One of the new cases was recently repatriated.
In its update on Friday, the ministry said there have now been a total of 7,729 recorded cases of covid19 in TT since March 2020.

The number of deaths remains 139.
It also said 7,490 patients have recovered, 15 are in hospital and five are in step-down facilities.

There are 441 people in state quarantine and 78 patients self-isolating at home.
The total number of tests to date is 98, 523, of which 46, 477 were done at private facilities.
