THE DIRECTOR of Public Prosecutions ordered a coroner's inquest into the death of Marlon Joseph, a man who was fatally stabbed in St Ann's last May.

A 34-year-old man who was detained on February 12 for the stabbing was released as a result. The DPP gave the advice on Tuesday.

In May 2020, Joseph got into a fight with another man at about 12.45 pm on Ariapita Road, St Ann’s.

Joseph, 42, was stabbed in the neck with a broken glass bottle. Another man was stabbed in his left forearm, while trying to separate the fight.
