New covid death and 25 more cases detected

ONE more person has died from covid19 and 25 more people have tested positive in the last 24 hours.

In its 4 pm update, the Health Ministry said on Saturday the number of covid19 deaths is now 128 and the number of active cases now stands at 272.

The total number of cases from March 12 now stands at 7,244 and 6,844 of these patients recovered.

A total of 24 patients remain in hospital, 12 are in step-down facilities, 232 are in state quarantine and 217 are in home isolation.

In total, 74,788 people have been tested for the virus. And of that number, 33,346 were done at private labs.
