Malabar man held for two bullet shells

A 47-year-old Malabar man was arrested for the possession of ammunition, and police retrieved 1.2 kg of marijuana during separate anti-crime exercises on Friday.

In a release, police said they found 450 grammes of marijuana along Kellawan Avenue, Malabar, and 750 grammes of along the riverbank at Phase Four, La Horquetta.

At Semp Avenue, Trainline and Railway Road, Malabar, a suspect was held for possession of two spent nine-millimetre shells.

The police operation was done under the supervision of ASP Coggins, Insp Pitt, Sgt Caldon and Cpl Durity.
