Keitha Oliver has been appointed general manager of Pepper Advertising.

According to a release from the company, Oliver "will provide leadership to the Pepper team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency. She will also continue to play a key role in the company’s business development efforts."

Oliver, who joined Pepper in 2015, previously worked with international brands such as RBC, Caterpillar, Jamieson and Courts and has experience across a variety of sectors, including financial services, retail and FMCG. As an account executive, she has managed several key accounts including the TT Mortgage Finance Company, the Maritime Financial Group and Tru Valu. She was promoted to senior account executive in January 2019, and client services team lead in August of that same year.

Oliver has a master’s in marketing from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business and recently became certified in marketing automation essentials (SharpSpring), fundamentals of digital marketing (Google Digital Garage) and inbound social media strategy (HubSpot).

Bjorn Stodart, lead creative at Pepper noted: "Keitha is a natural leader. She is bold, has integrity, honesty, humility and a clear focus. She is a strategic thinker who believes in teamwork. She strives to be better in all areas of her life, both personal and professional and empowers everyone around her to keep learning and sharing what they know."

Oliver commented: “Five years ago, I walked into 37 Picton Street with zero experience at an ad agency. It was both exhilarating and terrifying. But the mentorship, guidance and support shown by Dennis and Rebecca (Ramdeen) and the genuine camaraderie within the team, has helped my development. I am humbled and grateful for the confidence the founder of the agency has placed in me and I’m looking forward to rising to the challenge of helping our clients build deeper relationships with their customers”.

Pepper’s founder, Dennis Ramdeen said: “Keitha is ready to put her own mark on Pepper. She has marketing smarts and has encountered advertising at the intersection of traditional media and digital. She understands that digital is a lot more than social media and that ultimately all marketing communications are about building brands that drive sales.”

Ramdeen continued: “Keitha has helped shape the Pepper culture of taking ownership, openness and a passion to serve fellow team members and clients. I can’t wait to see her grow and take Pepper’s clients along for the ride.”
