TT footballer Kevin Molino will remain in Major League Soccer (MLS) in the US as he has signed with Columbus Crew.
Molino spent the last four years at Minnesota United where he helped the club advance to the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference final, last month. In that match Molino faced his fellow countryman Joevin Jones who played for Seattle Sounders.
Weeks ago, Molino announced on social media that he would be leaving Minnesota United.
According to the Columbus Dispatch, “The Crew has signed free agent midfielder Kevin Molino to a multi-year deal ahead of the 2021 season.”
Molino will follow in the footsteps of prolific TT striker Stern John. John played for Columbus from 1998 to 1999, scoring 44 goals in 55 matches.
