Students of Queen's Royal College (QRC), St Clair, were the beneficiary of 47 tablets donated by two online groups to principal David Simon.

The presentation was made on December 29 by "the fraternity brothers of two online chat groups, Royalian’s Lionhearts and The 69ers" who funded the initiative, said a media release.

The groups were represented by Richard Commissiong, Michael Austin, Madan Ramnarine, and Sayeed Emamali. The presentation represented the collective contributions of fraternity members living abroad, as well as some living in Trinidad.

“Students of Queen's Royal College will continue to benefit from the outreach initiatives of programmes such as this one, and any others being planned and intended to support and inspire excellence,” Emamali said in the release.
