Man charged for Moruga Christmas Day murder

Police have charged a 22-year-old Petit Valley man for the murder of Keveion Valentine Junior, who was stabbed in an argument on Christmas Day.

Akiel Sylvester was charged with the murder after advice was given by Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions George Busby on Monday.

Reports said the 27-year-old Valentine, of La Lune Village, Moruga, was at his home on Christmas Day, when he got into an argument with four men, during which he was stabbed in his chest. He died on the spot.

Sylvester surrendered to police on Boxing Day.
