Fire scare at Tobago's Gulf City Mall

A fire at a fast-food restaurant at Gulf City Mall, Lowlands, Tobago was quickly extinguished  on Tuesday evening.

The fire broke out around 8 pm, the mall's closing time, but a rapid response by fire officers prevented the blaze from spreading.

Police later cordoned off the scene and restricted access to the mall.

Investigations are continuing.
