10 new covid19 cases

The Ministry of Health recorded ten new covid19 cases on Monday.

The new cases reflect samples taken between January 1 and 3.

The ministry's 4pm update on Monday said the number of active cases has decreased to 333, from 351 on Sunday.

There have been no additional deaths, so the figure remains at 127.

The total number of cases is 7,178 of whom 6,718 have recovered.

There are 23 patients in hospitals and 66 in step-down facilities. There is a total of 209 patients in state quarantine facilities and 234 people in self-isolation. Of those, 17 are in the care of the prison system.

The update said the total number of people tested to date is 72,735. Of those, 31,802 tests were done at private facilities.
