The US Embassy will no longer provide courier services for immigrant visa (IV) and non-immigrant visa (NIV) applicants, including those who do not have an interview.

A statement issued by the US Embassy on Tuesday said all visa applicants must now bring a pre-addressed return courier envelope bought from TTPost to their interview appointments. Passports will be returned using the envelopes provided after visas are processed, printed and placed in the applicants’ passport.

It also said applicants will be required to use TTPost to submit documents for both IV and NIV visas.

“NIV cases that can be submitted as interview-waived applications should carefully follow detailed NIV document submission instructions outlined on the US Embassy’s website.”

The statement said IV applicants should bring all necessary documents to their interview in order to avoid follow-up document-submission requirements and delays in receiving their visas.
