Three new covid19 cases, no deaths reported

As the number of new covid19 cases continues to decrease, three cases were reported from samples taken between December 25 and 27.

The number of active cases stands at 420 as of Monday, down 16 from Sunday’s figure of 436.

The Health Ministry’s release said there have been no new deaths, so the total remains at 125.

There are 30 patients in hospital, up one from Sunday’s figure of 29. Forty-one people are in step-down facilities and there are 132 people in state quarantine facilities, two fewer than Sunday’s figure of 134. There are 346 people in home self-isolation, a decrease from the previous day’s number of 358. Of these, 37 are in the prison system.

There have been 7,115 covid19 cases since March, and 6,570 patients have recovered.

The number of tests from public and private facilities since March stands at 71,826, with 31,802 doneat private health facilities.
