Seven new covid19 cases detected

TT has seven new covid19 cases with one being a repatriated person, and no new deaths.

The Ministry of Health’s 4 pm covid19 update on Saturday noted that there have been 7,104 total cases in TT with 6,545 having recovered, and 125 deaths.

The number of active cases is 434 with 25 patients in hospitals, 41 in step-down facilities, 174 in state quarantine, and 361 in home isolation. Thirty-seven of those in home isolation were in care of the prison system.

It also noted that 30,951 tests were conducted at private facilities, bringing the total number of tests in the country to 70,708.
