Two new covid19 cases in Tobago

After going almost two weeks (since December 12) without a new covid19 case, Tobago announced two on Wednesday afternoon.

The Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development covid19 daily update said these new cases have brought the number of active cases to 11, and 141 overall.

The number of covid19 deaths remains at two. The last death was reported in April.

The total number of samples sent to the Caribbean Public Health Agency, the Tobago Regional Health Authority, UWI and other local testing sites is 2,137.

Seven patients were discharged between Sunday and Monday.
