Concerned with relocation of bank

THE EDITOR: As a customer of the RBC Royal Bank for decades, I am concerned with the relocation of the branch from the Falls of Westmall to the Chamber of Industry Commerce in Westmoorings, admittedly a short distance away.

You see, parking to get to the bank in Westmall was never a problem. Now however it has become a major problem as there is limited parking at the chamber premises. I understand the move most probably made more economic sense for the bank – but surely not for its customers. For example, a simple thing like using the ATM has become a parking headache.

The risk of using ATMs outside of any bank branch or in a mall is very real because of skimming. So my question to RBC is: couldn’t you have made some agreement with Westmall or even Massy Stores for an ATM to be installed on either of their premises?
