Ministry of Education distributes 50 Xmas packages to girls at St Jude’s

Minister in the Ministry of Education Lisa Morris-Julian delivered 50 gift packages to the children of St Jude’s School for Girls during a Christmas event on Monday.

A release issued by the ministry on Monday said the packages were collected and donated by members of staff at the ministry between December 1 and 16.

Morris-Julian said she was happy that the ministry chose St Jude’s to be the beneficiary of the packages, adding Government is “providing many opportunities at the school for their personal development and they must take full advantage.”

St Jude’s was one of the first institutions to receive 12 computers from the ministry’s Adopt-A School initiative on October 30.
