Really strange

THE EDITOR: I read with curiosity the story about Finance Minister Colm Imbert being told that he was too stupid to be corrupt. He also mentioned that he was approached by some citizens, both from the public and private sectors offering him bribes. He said he just chased them away.

I however wonder why he did not report these incidents to the police and try to get these obviously corrupt citizens arrested and tried in a court. Strange behaviour from an incorruptible senior politician.
