Gun, ammo found at Lady Chancellor guest house

Police seized a gun and ammunition at a guest house on Lady Chancellor Hill on Wednesday afternoon .

They searched a ceiling at the guest house and found a revolver and two rounds of ammunition.

No one was arrested.

However, said ten men were arrested for enquiries relating to shootings in Morvant and San Juan.

Police said members of the North Eastern Division Task Force and Morvant police led by Snr Supt Maharaj, ASP Parriman, Sgt Davidson, Cpls Dill, Gordon, PCs Dwarika and Moses began the operation at around 2 pm and ended at 9 pm.

The Morvant CID are continuing enquiries.
