Fyzabad man shot dead in front of his wife

Gunmen shot and killed a Fyzabad man in front of his wife on Wednesday night.

The men shot Emmanuel McMeo, 31, of Seelal Trace, Fyzabad while the couple were walking home.

A police report said at about 11 pm McMeo and his wife were walking along Seelal Trace when two masked men approached them.

Both pulled out guns and pointed them at the couple.

McMeo's wife told police when they saw the men, she and her husband ran in different directions.

The gunmen followed McMeo and shot him several times in the chest and abdomen. He died on the spot.

Investigators believe McMeo was their target.

No arrests have been made. Homicide Region Three police are investigating.
