Eight new covid19 cases, no new deaths

There are eight new cases of covid19, bringing the number of active cases to 691 and the total number to 6,775, according to the Ministry of Health's update on Monday afternoon.

In the release, the ministry reported that the death toll still stood at 122.

The last covid19-related death was reported on Saturday.

The release also said four fewer patients were in hospital, bringing the number to 34.

A total of 621 are in home self-isolation, of whom 177 are in the prison system.

There has been an increase in the number of people warded at state quarantine facilities – 225 compared to Sunday's figure of 210 – and an additional three people in step-down facilities, bringing the total to 28.

The report also said 25 more people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number to 5,962.
