A 31-year-old Venezuelan woman has been missing since Sunday afternoon.

Mayra Alejandra Jaimes worked on Sunday cleaning a house for an elderly Trinidadian couple in Arima.

Doris Pena, her cousin, told Newsday on Monday morning that Jamies had finished work at 4pm, as instructed by her employers.

She said after work, Jaimes always came home to Woodbrook, Port of Spain, where she lives with Pena and other family members.

“We don't know anything about my cousin. Her phone is disconnected and it's strange.

She doesn't have a boyfriend and she has never stayed to sleep outside of our home,” said Pena.

Jaimes has lived in TT for two years and has always worked as a cleaner.

Relatives made a report to Arima police.

Pena called on the community to help find her cousin.

Anyone with information on where she might be can contact the family at 797-9498.
