Fuel contaminated at Tobago NP service station

The fuel at NP Orange Hill gas station in Tobago was contaminated on Saturday morning.

The company immediately suspended the sale of fuel there.

In a media release on Monday, NP said the contamination occurred around 10.30 am.

It said the problem only affected the NP Orange Hill service station. After service was suspended at that station, technicians were sent to remove the fuel and take remedial reaction.

“A full investigation and analysis of the matter is being conducted as NP remains committed to ensuring this matter is resolved as quickly as possible,” it said.

Affected customers are asked to make a complaint and provide fuel samples as evidence.

Complaints can be made via NP’s Crown Point office at 639-8561 or 800-NPMC. Customers can also send an e-mail to the investigating officer at customer_service@np.co.tt.
