A man from Sunshine Avenue, San Juan, where teenager Ashanti Riley lived, is the third suspect being sought by police in relation to her abduction and death.

The man is believed to be one of the two men who a 32-year-old driver picked up after stopping for Riley. She lived at Lloyd Street along Sunshine Avenue.

Police have arrested two men in relation to Riley's death – the PH taxi-driver and another man seen on CCTV getting into the car. Riley got into the blue Nissan Almera PH taxi headed to San Juan Junction to meet friends and relatives who were going to visit her grandmother in Cocorite.

Her decomposing body was found about 60 feet off Cakes Land, Upper La Canoa, Santa Cruz on Friday morning, five days after she went missing. Her body was found around 8.05 am by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, who, based on a tip-off went to the forested area the day before, but poor lighting cut short the search. They returned the following day and after two hours, found the teenager's body.

The Port of Spain branch of Wrap Works, where Riley's mother Candice worked, closed on Saturday to show support for the family.
