Man held with $.5m in cocaine

Western Division police seized $500,000 worth in cocaine on Thursday and arrested a man who hid the drugs in a box.

Police said the 358.3 grams of cocaine, in four black packages, was concealed in the inner lining of the box.

The arrest came after officers assigned to the Western Division Gang and Intelligence Unit, Western Division Operations and Canine Unit, after investigations, visited a building in the Port of Spain, where the man was held.

Police said the man had two forms of identification, both bearing his picture, but with different names.

He is being held at the Four Roads Police Station as investigations continue.
