A 19-YEAR-OLD woman is among three people expected to be interviewed by investigators for the theft of $500,000 in jewels and other valuables from a house in Santa Cruz, police said.

Police said the robbery happened on Saturday and members of the North Eastern Division Task Force and CID gathered intelligence and conducted surveillance on the three suspects earlier this week.

Investigators then raided the homes of the three suspects in Morvant and St Joseph where they recovered some of the jewellery. The exercise was led by Snr Supt Mahara and incuded Supt Alexander, Sgt Bharath, Cpl Majeed and PCs Dass, Mieres and Andrews.

Police from the North Eastern Division Task Force are continuing enquiries.
