Three held for marijuana in Champs Fleurs

Police arrested three people were arrested and seized a quantity of marijuana in Champs Fleurs early on Wednesday morning.

Police said members of the Northern Division Task Force West and St Joseph police, co-ordinated by Supt Montrichard, went to Mt D;Or Road at around 4 am, searched a house and found 218 grams of marijuana.

A 24-year-old man who was in the house was arrested.

Police then went to a house on Savary Street, St Joseph, where they found 800 grams of marijuana. A man and woman, 36 and 23, who were in the house were also arrested.

St Joseph police are continuing enquiries.
