Sixteen new covid19 cases

THE MINISTRY of Health, in its latest covid19 update, announced that 677 people infected with covid19 are in self-isolation.

The ministry explained that of these, 175 are in the prison system.

Another 205 are in state quarantine facilities.

Sixteen new cases have been reported from samples taken between November 24 and 26.

There are 758 active cases, and there have been 6,586 cases overall.

A total of 5,710 patients have recovered and 118 people have died.

Thirty-six are in hospital and 29 in step-down facilities.
