Tourism Trinidad launches destination website

Tourism Trinidad Ltd (TTL) will launch its redesigned marketing website for Trinidad on November 30.

A release issued on Monday said the virtual launch of the Destination Trinidad website will be live streamed, guiding viewers through all the “must experience” sites on the island.

“The primary objectives of the website are to generate destination awareness and provide users with compelling stories and information on the island’s history, culture, sites and attractions,” the release said.

It said the website is easy to browse and has features designed to “inform, influence and inspire” travellers.

The website will have new features including 360-degree virtual tours an a covid19 resource centre with up-to-date information on travel restrictions and public health and safety measures. It will include an updated calendar of events and feature tour packages for potential tourists to browse.

“The Destination Trinidad website acts as a key point of reference for anyone travelling to Trinidad as it provides centralised…information on the island in one place.”

It said the site is being launched to “rebuild confidence among travellers and to resume travel safely in line with the necessary health precautions, when borders reopen,” and can also be helpful for locals looking for new things to do.
