Two shot in Maloney

Two men are being treated at hospital after being shot in Maloney on Tuesday night.

Police said the men, 23 and 24, were standing at Plover Avenue, Maloney Gardens at around 10.30 pm when a white Nissan B15 drove up.

A man got out of the car and shot at the men. The wounded men ran off but collapsed a short distance away.

Neighbours heard the gunshots and took the men to the hospital.

Police went to the scene and found six spent shells.

Northern Division police are continuing enquiries.
