Ex-fireman from Princes Town found dead in burnt SUV

Police found the burnt body of a former fire officer in a burnt car on Wednesday morning in the Ste Madeleine district.

Dead is Christopher Hosein, 45, a businessman, who lived at Princes Town.

A report said shortly after 6 am, police went to a bushy area off the Tasker Road and found the body in a white SUV.

A former colleague told Newsday that Hosein resigned from the Fire Service about ten years ago.

Newsday visited his home and business place, the Expert Fire and Safety Ltd ((EFSL), at St James Street in Princes Town. A female relative declined to comment and asked for the media to respect the family’s wishes.

Police investigators are calling on anyone with information to contact the nearest police station or Homicide Bureau Region III at 652-0495.
