33 new covid19 cases, no deaths reported

There have been 33 new cases of covid19 reported within the last 24 hours

The total number of active cases thas now dropped to 1,276.

The Health Ministry’s release on Tuesday afternoon said no new deaths have been reported, and the total remains at 106.

Ten people have been discharged from public health facilities and there are 50 recovered community cases.

There are 62 people in hospital, Forty-six are at the Couva Hospital and Multi-Training Facility, with two in the intensive care unit and six in the high-dependency unit. There are 12 at the Caura Hospital, three at the Scarborough Regional Hospital at the Fort and one at the Scarborough General Hospital, Signal Hill.

There are 32 patients in step-down facilities, 18 at the Claxton Bay Correctional Facility and 14 at UWI Debe. There are 113 people in state quarantine facilities, and 1,182 people in home self-isolation.

The total number of cases since March is 5,568 and there are now 4,186 recovered patients.

The total number of people tested to date in the public sector stands at 32,530.
