Cops seize shotgun in St Joseph

Police found a shotgun and two rounds of ammunition in St Joseph early on Monday morning.

Police said members of the Northern Division Area West received information that a gun was hidden in a forested area off La Grine Road, Maracas, St Joseph, at around 1 am.

They went to the area and found a black plastic bag with the gun and ammunition hidden in a bamboo patch.

No one was arrested.

St Joseph police are continuing enquiries.
