Two new covid19 deaths, 54 new cases

There have been 54 new reported cases of covid19 between Wednesday and Thursday, with two additional deaths, according to the Ministry of Health's 4 pm update on Thursday.

This is a decrease in the number of new cases recorded, as there were 59 on Wednesday.

The release said the two latest fatalities were both elderly men with pre-existing medical conditions.

There are 1,467 active cases, and there have been 103 deaths.

As of Thursday afternoon, the total number of cases stood at 5,446.

The release on Thursday also reported that there were 39 recovered community cases and five people have been discharged from public health facilities.
