Patient discharged, 2 days without new covid19 case in Tobago

One more patient has been discharged from the Tobago covid19 treatment facility.

The island has also gone two days without a new reported case of the virus.

Active cases remain at 32 and the number of deaths stands at two.

The Division of Health Wellness and Family Development's midday update said the total number of people discharged on the island is now 70.

In all 104 covid19 cases have been recorded in Tobago.

A total of 1,515 samples have been submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency, the Tobago Regional Health Authority, UWI and other local covid19 testing sites.

The release said three people are in the treatment facility, 15 in the Tobago step-down facility and 14 covid19-positive inmates still recovering at the Claxton Bay Correctional facility in Trinidad.
