US gives face masks to TT prisons

The US Government has given 1,000 KN-95 facemasks and 1,000 face shields to the TT Prisons Service.

US Ambassador Joseph Mondello presented them to Commissioner of Prisons Dennis Pulchan at the embassy on Tuesday.

They both acknowledged the challenges the Prisons Service is facing during the covid19 pandemic.

Through a press release, Mondello said this was part of a continued partnership with the Government.

Mondello emphasised, “As we’ve stated repeatedly in our co-ordination to confront the pandemic, we must all do our part. We’re honoured to continue assisting the government and people of Trinidad and Tobago in their efforts.”
