US Embassy's college fair replaced with webinars

THE US Embassy will host a virtual event to promote studying in the US on Saturday. A release said the “US College Prep Day” replaces the embassy's annual college fair, which was cancelled due to the pandemic.

The October 24 event is scheduled to take place from 9 am to 6 pm via the Zoom platform. The event will feature several webinars about the undergraduate admissions process, funding US studies, preparing a graduate school application and the student visa process, among others.

The event is free and open to members of the public.

Interested people should register for sessions of their choice in advance by visiting the webpage: http://bit.ly/CollegePrepDay. However, anyone can register 30 minutes before each session on the day of the event.
