THE Health Ministry has created an e-mail address for people waiting for covid19 test results.

Chief Medical Officer Roshan Parasram announced this at the ministry’s virtual media conference on Monday morning.

He said instead of only being able to call the offices of the County Medical Officers of Health (CMOH)s or the lab, people can now e-mail covid19results@health.gov.tt.

The e-mail must include their name, address, phone number and if they can recall, where and when they were swabbed.

He said, “This is actually being looked at on a daily basis during the week, from Monday to Friday at the public health lab.

“Once someone is assigned, they will look into the database, (and) see if they can get a result.

"That result will then be sent to the CMOHs if it has not already been, and the CMOH’s office will call that person to give them their results.”
