Cops seize marijuana in Toco camp

A joint exercise on Sunday led to the seizure of a quantity of marijuana at a makeshift camp in Toco.

Police said members of the Area East Operational Unit, the Northern Division Task Force area central and Toco police found the camp in a forested area.

As they arrived, several people ran away.

Investigators found and seized 11.034 kilograms of marijuana.

Northern Division police are continuing enquiries.
