58 new covid19 cases detected

A total of 58 new covid19 cases have been reported by the Ministry of Health in its 4 pm update on Sunday. There were no new reported deaths which remains at 90.

The release said that the new cases reflected the samples taken during the last three days and not the last 24 hours.

Active cases now stand at 1,753, and the total number of cases since March 12, when the first case was reported, is 5,101.

There are 119 people in hospital with covid19, 37 patients in step-down facilities, 46 people in state quarantine facilities, and 1,597 people in home self-isolation.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 30,599 and the total number of recovered patients is 3,252.
